Join us for this Organic Advice Network Cross Visit on Fruit Production! A comprehensive 2-day farm tour focused on managing organic table apple and table cherry orchards. Gain first hand insights into the challenges, solutions, and management strategies that shape modern organic orchards.
This cross-visit offers participants an in-depth look into organic farming practices for apple and cherry production in Switzerland. By the end of the visit, you will:
- Understand the main challenges involved in converting an apple and cherry orchard to organic farming.
- Be familiar with possible solutions to address these challenges and provide informed advice.
- Gain insights into the structure and management of modern organic apple and cherry orchards in Switzerland.
This cross visit is organized within the framework of the EU project OrganicAdviceNetwork
Field visits
If you only want to join the field visits, you can do so if you can get to the location on your own. We cannot provide funding for people who only join the field visits. Please register and write in the comment section which field visit you want to join (one or both). The field visits are within a range of 30 min by car from Frick.
